1. What Levelrow is

Levelrow is a Shopify app for Shopify Payments payouts. It reads the money side of your orders and payouts, and splits each payout by line type through the account map you confirm. It then posts one summarised journal entry per payout into the QuickBooks Online company you connect.

Levelrow supports United States QuickBooks Online companies whose home currency is US dollars and matches your store currency. It refuses a multi-currency company and says why.

Payouts are checked every hour. Shopify publishes no payout webhook, so an entry appears after Levelrow's next check, not at the moment the payout is issued.

A United States journal entry carries no tax code, so collected sales tax posts to the liability account you choose. Levelrow does not update the QuickBooks sales tax centre, and it does not file anything.

Levelrow is not affiliated with Shopify or Intuit, and neither has approved or endorsed it.

2. Who charges you

  • WaveApp LLC makes Levelrow and licenses it to you.
  • Your subscription runs on Shopify App Pricing. You choose a plan on Shopify's own page, and the charge is added to your Shopify invoice.
  • Levelrow creates no charge in code and never sees your card.
  • Refunds are covered on the refund page.

3. Your licence

You may use Levelrow on the Shopify stores you control, to post your own books. You must not resell it, copy it, reverse-engineer it, or use it to break the law or to reach a QuickBooks company you are not entitled to use. You must be able to enter a binding agreement where you live.

4. Connecting QuickBooks

You connect a QuickBooks Online company through Intuit's sign-in, and your use of QuickBooks stays governed by your own agreement with Intuit. Levelrow uses Intuit's QuickBooks Online Accounting API under Intuit's developer terms.

Levelrow posts and voids only the entries it created, and records their QuickBooks ids. It touches no other transaction in your company. Nothing is posted until you confirm your account map and a date range.

You can disconnect QuickBooks in Settings. That revokes Levelrow's token with Intuit and pauses posting; the entries already in your books stay there.

5. Paying

  • Core is $29.00 per month: Shopify Payments payouts posted as one entry each, the account map, the difference panel, a 60-day backfill, and up to 300 orders a month.
  • Plus is $59.00 per month: everything in Core, plus third-party gateway clearing entries and a 24-month backfill, and up to 1,500 orders a month.
  • Scale is $99.00 per month: everything in Plus, plus several stores into one QuickBooks company and a bookkeeper seat, and up to 5,000 orders a month.
  • Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, which rolls into the first charge.
  • Billing is monthly. Development stores are free.
  • Go over your tier and posting continues. We show an upgrade prompt; we do not stop your books.
  • Cancel on Shopify's plan page. Billing stops at the end of the current cycle, and your data stays available until you uninstall.
  • End the trial without choosing a plan and posting pauses. You keep reading your history and exporting it.
  • The price on Shopify's plan page, in your billing currency, is the one that counts.

6. Your work and ours

  • Your account map, your posted history, your difference records and your exports are yours. We hold them to run the app for you, and the privacy notice says how.
  • The entries in your QuickBooks company are yours. Uninstalling Levelrow leaves them untouched.
  • The app, the posting engine and the interface are ours.
  • You are responsible for the accounts you map, the date range you backfill, and for reviewing what lands in your books.

7. What we do not promise

Levelrow posts what Shopify reports. We do not promise that every payout is posted within a given hour, that Shopify and Intuit are always reachable, or that the service is always available. Shopify publishes transaction types we have not seen; those amounts are shown for you to classify and are never posted to an account you did not choose. Levelrow is a bookkeeping tool, not accounting or tax advice, and your accountant owns the judgement.

8. Changes and ending

We will change features and prices across releases, and we will tell you in the app before a material change takes effect. You can remove Levelrow at any time. It then deletes your data as the privacy notice describes, and it leaves your QuickBooks entries where they are.

9. Warranty

Levelrow is provided as is. Where the law gives you a warranty we cannot exclude, that warranty stands.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, WaveApp LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profit, lost orders or lost data. Our total liability for anything connected to Levelrow is limited to what you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not let us limit.

11. Law and disputes

These terms follow the law of the State of Wyoming, United States. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections and courts of the place where you live still apply. Write to [email protected] first; most problems are settled by email.
